Sponsorship of 1st Indo-Japanese International Conference held on Advances in Pharmaceutical Research and Technology.
The CRS Indian Chapter was one of the Co-Sponsors of the above Mega Event 1st Indo-Japanese International Conference on "Advances in Pharmaceutical Research and Technology" held in Mumbai during November 25 to 29, 2005.
CRS Indian Chapter thus promotes global interaction with scientists working in the field of drug delivery systems.
Travel Grant to participate in 32nd Annual Meeting & Exposition of the Controlled Release Society held at Miami, Florida.
The travel grant was given to Mr. Kumar Shah and Dr. Vandana Patravale, U.I.C.T for presenting the posters entitled "Comparative evaluation of microemulion templates and solvent emulsification".

The outgoing CRS president Dr. Jennifer Dressman appreciated the activities of the chapter and the Indian chapter was acclaimed as second best chapter next to UK and New Zealand in ters of achievement and membership enrollment.
Mr. Ajit Singh, Vice-President CRS-Indian Chapter was appointed on the Board of Director CRS Inc. USA.

A galaxy of global experts constituted the facility of the conference Mr. Pankaj R. Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of Cadila health Care and Zydus group of companies, India, presided as chief guest, while Prof. Jennifer Dressman, President CRS-Inc (USA) was the guest of honour. Overall 3000 delegates participated from industry, regulatory bodies and academia. A total of 131 posters representing high quality research work carried out in Indian Universities Institutes and Industry were presented at this conference.
